Over 20 years of needing to remove pond weed from our ponds (Carleton Hill Fishery) has resulted in the perfect design and over 10 years trading as Jake's Rakes. Jakes Rakes are the most effective means of physically removing pond weed, such as Canadian pond weed, Potamogetan and other similar pond weeds. Designed to dig into the lake bed and remove the roots. Remove the root, remove the problem. No matter how it lands it will be the right way round when you pull it in.

Laser cut mild steel for a precision rake head. Great for removing autumn debris. Great for removing lost lines and rigs. (A must for commercial fisheries). Each rake comes with 20 meters of 6mm polypropalene rope with spliced thimble connected via D-shackle to the rake and a loop spliced into the rope end.

Raking a swim is a long forgotten trick that still works as well now as it ever has. Although traditionally a tench tactic is has proven time and time again to lure carp, tench and bream into the margins.
